UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital
The UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital is the state’s premier pediatric health center where University of Florida pediatric cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons and pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists provide innovative and comprehensive care at the highest standards of quality and service for newborns and infants, children and adolescents, and adults of all ages who have congenital heart disease. UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital operates a Level I Trauma Center and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. ShandsCair — including three ambulances, one helicopter, one non-emergent van and a fixed-wing jet — perform more than 500 emergency transports, by ground and air.

Our physicians, highly skilled nurses, and clinical and non-clinical staff, offer our patients the latest treatments, advanced technologies and high-quality, compassionate health care.
