About Dipankar Gupta

My name is Dipankar Gupta and I work as a board-certified physician in pediatrics, pediatric cardiology and pediatric critical care medicine. I received my medical degree from the University College of Medical Sciences at the University of Delhi in India. Then I pursued my pediatric residencies at Safdarjang Hospital at the University of Delhi and at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn.

In 2011 I joined the University of Florida College of Medicine to pursue a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine and in pediatric cardiology. While completing these fellowships at the UF College of Medicine, I was awarded the UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital Customer Service Key Award and the Douglas J. Barrett M.D. Academic Fellowship Award.

At UF Health, I serve as a clinical assistant professor and work as a pediatric cardiologist at the UF Health Congenital Heart Center. I am also a member of the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.

My clinical interests include pediatric cardiology, congenital heart disease, pediatric heart failure, cardiomyopathy, heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support.
