About Himesh V Vyas

Himesh Vyas, MD, is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. At UF Health, he specializes in general pediatric cardiology, interventional cardiology, echocardiography and fetal echocardiography.

He earned his medical degree from B.J. Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital, in Pune, India. He received his pediatrics residency at B.J. Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital, Pune, and at the Michigan State University Pediatrics Residency Program in Lansing. Following his residency, Dr. Vyas pursued his pediatric cardiology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic Pediatric Cardiology Program in Rochester, MN. He then served an advanced fellowship in interventional catheterization at Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children’s Hospital, in Houston. 

Prior to his appointment at UF Health, Dr. Vyas was assistant professor in pediatric cardiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, in Little Rock.
