Laura Wilson, MD

Hi my name is Dr. Laura Wilson. I am a physician here at UF Health and am board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology at UF Health. I am a clinical assistant professor and I specialize in pediatric cardiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine.

I attended medical school at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. Thereafter, I completed a pediatric residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. Next, I completed a pediatric cardiology fellowship and an advanced cardiac imaging fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida.

In addition to my education, I hold a role as an educator for all levels of medical training, from medical students to fellows. I have provided educational lectures in various departments and topics, including emergency medicine, adult cardiology and pediatrics. I also proctor for pediatric residents during simulation sessions while at UF Health.
